NOTICE OF REMOVAL. The Engraving on the first page of our List represents a stack of buildings at the corner of Bow Lane and Cannon Street, known as the Beaver Warehouses, 21, Bow Lane, which were formerly in the posses- sion of Sir William Poland, and have latterly been occupied by Messrs. S. & M. Meyer, the well-known Furriers, who are now removing into premises which they have just built in the adjoining street. On the 29th instant this spacious building, consisting of seven lofty floors, each measuring nearly 2500 square feet, will pass into our possession; and we may therefore congratulate ourselves upon having secured what we have for some time been desiring, viz.: premises, in a central situation, with such ample room for our enlarged, and still enlarging business operations, as would enable us to do justice to the orders of our friends. It would be an act of ingratitude, and one quite in opposition to our feelings, were we to quit this old locality where ourselves and prede- cessors have been anchored for nearly a century, without thanking the Trade for that liberal support which has enabled us, not only to remain so long here, but by its continually increasing patronage has obliged us three times in six years to enlarge our premises, and now enables us to occupy what has been by competent judges pronounced to be one of the finest Warehouses in the Metropolis. We do sincerely tender our best thanks to all who have contributed to this result, and beg leave to* assure them that as we shall now be without excuse for not doing full justice to all transactions entrusted to us, we shall hope to merit and receive a still increased proportion of their confidence. On and after the above date all letters should be addressed as above, and we shall hope to be favoured with a call on the part of buyers when in Town, as the first floor of our new premises will be devoted to samples, not only of our own goods, but of all novelties which the Manufacturers may wish to introduce to the notice of the Trade.
